Community listing
List your community on the Farm Sim Game Communities page with a description, tags, country, banner and its own profile page link.
On this page
Your community listing puts your community in front of Farming Simulator players. Once it's turned on, your community shows on the Communities page, where farmers can search, filter by tag and sort, and it gets its own community page. Cards in the list open your community page in a new tab; players join your Discord from there, if you show the Join Discord button.
Before you start#
- If your community is a Discord server, create a Discord invite for it and set it to never expire with no limit on uses. Your listing needs it so people can join. Communities made on the website are listed without one.
- Have a banner image ready if you want one. It's shown at 724×400 pixels.
- Until your community is listed, the dashboard shows "Help members discover your community." with a Set up listing button.
Set it up#
It's under Community in the sidebar.
Set Enable Discovery to Enabled.
Paste your invite in Discord Server Invite. A green check means it's accepted. Optional for a community made on the website.
Pick a Community Country (optional), and fill in Short Description, Long Description and Tags.
Choose a file in Listing banner.
Press Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the page.
Settings explained#
| Setting | What it does | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Enable Discovery | Enabled lists your community publicly. Disabled hides it. | Disabled |
| Discord Server Invite | Your invite link, used by the Join Discord button on your community page (if you show it). It must start with https://discord.gg/, or you'll see a red ✗. Up to 100 characters. Required on the public list for a community that's a Discord server; optional for one made on the website. | — |
| Page address | Your community page's address, Community/@name, shown here with a Change link. You change it on Page & look › Address, once every 30 days (see Your community page). | Made from your community's name |
| Community Country | Optional. The country your community is based in, shown with a flag on your page. | No country selected |
| Short Description | One or two lines on your card in the Communities list and in search results. Up to 255 characters. | — |
| Long Description | The full description on your profile page. Up to 2,048 characters. | — |
| Tags | Type a tag and press Enter. Suggestions include FS25, FS22, FS19, Farming Simulator, Multiplayer and Crossplay. Tags help people find you and are shown on your page. | — |
| Listing banner | A JPEG, PNG or GIF under 5 MB. It's converted to 724×400, so other shapes look stretched. Shown on your card, your page and when your page is shared. A new upload replaces the old one. | — |
Bad words are filtered out of descriptions and tags when you save. The Listing banner card at the bottom of the page shows your current banner.
Mention your game version, platform, map and mods in the Short Description, for example "FS25 PC server on Riverbend Springs, modded, all welcome". Then add matching Tags.
Where your listing appears#
- Communities: the public list of communities. It's sorted by Recent bumps by default, and visitors can switch to Most members, A → Z or By language, search, and filter by tag. Servers with Premium show a Verified badge.
- Your community page:
/Community/@your-name, with your game servers live, news, polls, reviews and your community chat. If you didn't pick a name, your page gets one from your server's name. See Your community page to set it up and make it your own.
Showing up in Find my community#
Players can answer a few questions on Find my community (game, platform, mods, play style, language, when they play) and get the communities that fit them best. The match comes from what Farm Sim Game sees, so these help players find you:
- Tag each game server PC, Console and/or Crossplay (Edit server) so players on those platforms see you.
- Fill in the server's FarmLink settings (play styles, platforms, mods, languages), or let the scan count its mods.
- Pick your community's language in Discord, and use tags and a description that say how you play (realistic, roleplay, animals, forestry...).
- Keep your servers online: busy hours and players online now count too.
Use /bump to move your community to the top of the default list.
Starting over? A server whose savegame started in the last 14 days gets a Fresh save badge on your card and is listed on Fresh starts. See Starting a new save.
Quiet listings#
Communities that look abandoned make the list worse for everyone, so a listing with no sign of life for 30 days shows after the active ones (on the Communities page, the home page and in Find my community) with a Quiet lately label. Any of these counts as life and moves it back up within a few minutes:
- players on one of your game servers
- a
/bump - a news post or an event on your community page
- members chatting on your community page
Your listing settings show a notice while your listing is quiet.
Commands#
/bump EveryoneBumps Current Server Up the Discords Server List on FarmSimGame.com.
/bumps EveryoneDisplays the top 25 Discord members that bumped this server.
Anyone in your server can use these. See Bumps.
Troubleshooting#
My community isn't on the Communities page#
- Set Enable Discovery to Enabled and press Save changes in the bar at the bottom of the page.
- If your community is a Discord server, add a Discord Server Invite. It's required to show on the public list. Communities made on the website don't need one.
- The list is sorted by recent bumps. Search for your name, or bump your community.
My invite shows a red ✗#
Your invite is invalid. It must start with https://discord.gg/. Fix it before you save.
"Discovery Settings were not changed!"#
Nothing on the form was different from what's saved. Change something, or upload a new banner.
My banner didn't upload#
- "Image must be jpeg, png, or gif format." Save it as one of those.
- "Image size too large." The file must be under 5 MB.
