Manage Community is the dashboard where you run one community: its game servers, listing, community page and website chat and, if it's a Discord server, the bot. Every page uses the same layout, so once you know where things are you can find any setting quickly. This tour covers the layout, the community card, the sidebar groups, the dashboard home, and where your game server settings are.
Before you start#
You need to be logged in and have a community selected. If you haven't done that yet, follow Add the bot to your server or make a community on My Communities. The dashboard opens for the community's owner and its website staff, and for a Discord server's owner and anyone with Administrator or Manage Server there. It checks that again every time you open a page or save.
Open it from the account menu (your avatar, top right) → Manage Community, or go to /ManageCommunity.
The layout#
From left to right on a computer:
| Area | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Community rail | An icon for every community you run, in labelled groups: FSG (communities made on the website), Discord (Discord servers with the bot) and Add (Discord servers you manage without the bot: hover shows "Add the FSG Bot to server name", click to invite it). The highlighted icon, at the top of its group, is the community you're managing. |
| Settings sidebar | The community card, the Find a setting... search box and every settings page, grouped by area. A Help & guides link at the bottom opens these docs. |
| Main area | The page you opened: a breadcrumb, the page title, a one-line description, a How this works link to its guide, then the settings. |
| How it looks in Discord | On most pages, a live preview of what members will see: the message, embed, panel or form, drawn from the settings as you change them. Names, numbers and answers in it are samples, explained in the grey note underneath. |
On a wide screen, How it looks in Discord sits to the right of the settings and stays in view as you scroll. On a smaller screen it's below the settings. On a phone, the rail and sidebar are tucked away. Tap the bar at the top (it shows your community and the current page) to open Community settings.
The community card#
The card at the top of the sidebar shows your community's icon, name and member count, plus a Premium badge when Premium is on. Its buttons:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Switch | Opens My Communities so you can manage a different community. |
| Listing | Opens your public community page. Only shown once your community is listed. See Community listing. |
| Game Servers | Opens Game servers, where your Farming Simulator servers are. |
| Support | Opens a new support ticket on the website, already linked to this community. |
| Make this community Premium | Puts your Premium on this community. Shown when your account has a supporter tier and this community doesn't have Premium yet. |
| Remove Premium | Takes Premium off. Shown when this community has Premium. |
| Become a Supporter for Premium | Opens the supporter plans. Shown when you have no supporter tier. |
See Premium for what Premium changes.
Find a setting#
Type in Find a setting... to filter the sidebar by page name, description or group. Press Enter to open the first match. If nothing matches you'll see "No settings match."

The Discord · … groups only show when the community is a Discord server and you manage it on Discord (or your staff role includes Discord bot settings). A staff role only shows the pages it may see.
Pages marked Premium show a small Premium label in the sidebar and next to the page title when your community doesn't have Premium. You can still open them to see what they do.
The dashboard home#
Dashboard is the first page you see. For a Discord server you manage, it shows:
- Whether Premium is on for this community.
- Members, your channels by kind (text, announcement, voice, categories, forums, threads) and Roles.
- Joins and leaves today and yesterday.
- Invites: joins and leaves per inviter, if you use invite tracking.
- Bot error logs: problems the bot ran into in your server, like a channel it can't post in. Check here first when something doesn't work.
Dashboard stats and error log explains each one.
Communities without Discord, and website managers#
A website community has no Discord server, and a website manager of a Discord community doesn't manage its Discord server. Their dashboard only has the pages that don't need Discord: the Community, Community page and Website chat groups. Their Dashboard shows shortcuts to those pages instead of Discord numbers, and opening a Discord bot page shows a short note instead of its settings. On Edit server they see the Listing and Website chat tabs.
Messages at the top of the page#
Finish connecting this server first.#
This yellow box means the website has no channels or no roles for this server, so the channel and
role lists on every page are empty. Don't save anything until it's gone. In Discord, run /setup and
choose Update Channels and Roles for Website, then refresh the page. See
First setup with /setup.
Help members discover your community.#
This blue box shows until your community is listed publicly. Click Set up listing to open Community listing, or ignore it if you'd rather stay unlisted.
Saving#
When you change a setting, a bar at the bottom of the page says You have unsaved changes. Press Save changes to save everything you changed on the page, or Reset to go back to what's saved. The bar then says All changes saved. Other messages, like an error saying what went wrong, show at the bottom centre of the page.
Where game server settings live#
Your Farming Simulator game servers are under Game servers in the sidebar's Community group:
| Page | What it's for |
|---|---|
Game servers (/ManageCommunity/GameServers) | Lists the game servers linked to your active community, with a pencil button to edit each one, a map button and a FarmLink button. Add a server starts the add-server wizard. |
Edit server (/ManageCommunity/EditServer/…) | Every setting for one game server, in three tabs: Listing (its public profile, server access, restarts and emails), Website chat (which notifications post in your community's chat) and Discord (what the bot posts in your Discord server). Open it with the pencil button on Game servers. On this page on the right (the jump menu at the top on smaller screens) takes you to a section of the open tab. Save changes in the bar at the bottom saves every tab. |
Open Game servers from the sidebar, the Game Servers button on the community card, or Game Servers in the account menu. The Game server tools guides cover every setting.
Troubleshooting#
"You do not have an active community selected."#
Pick a community on My Communities first. The dashboard sends you there automatically.
"You don't have permission to manage that community."#
You're no longer on the community's staff, or no longer own its Discord server or have Administrator or Manage Server there, so the dashboard sent you back to My Communities. Ask the owner to add you again, then choose the community again.
A channel or role is missing from a list#
The website lists the channels and roles the bot last copied. Run /setup → Update Channels and
Roles for Website in Discord, then refresh the page.
A Premium page shows a message instead of settings#
That page needs Premium, or a higher supporter tier. See Premium.
